All these happenings take long long time to formed.

ALL have been predicted, root causes presented, and how our Civil Defense and MINDEF need to be rehearsed has been specifically detailed and emailed on 20120424 0013 hours

3PM Lee Hsien Loong has failed in planning, maintaining our infrastructure hardware, less so cultivating our people.

I thank your team, yourself for demonstrating leadership in front of crisis.

Such crisis should not have had happened.

All has been identified, listed and informed in the following order – then M MOT Raymond Lim, M MHA.

Since such crises happens, all over the island, all across the operators – it is not accidental, nor systematic, it is fundamental failures of technical competency, and lost of disciplines and priority.

Please immediately activate SAF Combat Engineer and SCDF, to do

1.       real run of accidental recovery

2.       simulating when there is fire, smoke, casualties at peak hours,

3.       with two trains colliding (since power, signal both are failing),

4.       third train full load arriving

5.       escalator collapse and

6.       tunnel and pedestrian passage blocked.

This cannot be biz as usual – by scenario planners, or Israeli experts.

You need

1.       deeper insight of our infrastructure weakness and

2.       to capitalize on our better, cohesive social fabric than Jerusalem.

I am most ready to assist, if not to share, to learn and to inspire.

My observation at Raffles Station, where overwhelming traffic after office hours, block the arriving passengers sending rapidly by escalator – possible stampede can happen.

No action is yet taken after two weeks.

Your initiatives for closer connecting with the people via social media is commendable.

But it is direction, clear direction for recovery of infrastructure, revival of our economy the highest priority.

Social Media will not provide such.

More high tech public housing is the same.

If we indulge in social media, without focusing on problem solving, you may lost the second year of your term, after the first invested in adjusting the salary of a handful.

For problem solving, please review through all the major mishap, is it our People,

1.       a young SAF officer resolve Sentosa cable car,

2.       our PWD design Changi T1, supported by our civil engineer Prof Lee Seng Lip on accelerating the stabilization of land fill areas for runway.

Or

1.       a returning Singaporeans hollow out NUS succession, no law dean imply succession danger in law minister, home affair minister, foreign minister.
